BALANGA CITY- A ranking official of the Department of Health who requested not to be identified on Sunday afternoon treated to a Christmas party 126 day-care children belonging to the poorest families in 22 barangays here.

The doctor who asked that he remained anonymous said he just wanted to share his blessings especially with the children of depressed families during this time of Christmas.

An officer from the Bataan police command who was invited to give his inspirational message told the children to always respect their parents.

The children were served spaghetti, sliced bread, juice and later ice cream. Daycare teachers stood in close watch of their pupils.

Two clowns entertained the kids with dance to the tune of “Itaktak Mo” and magic at the Reggae Moon Bar and Restaurant along the Roman superhighway in Barangay Tuyo here.

The children enjoyed dancing and participating in different games.  Some daycare teachers even joined in one of the games to the cheers of their pupils. Some small boys interviewed said they wanted toy guns as present for Christmas.  A girl at first also liked a toy gun but later changed it to a Barbie doll.

The unnamed sponsor before the party ended handed out some cash to the children who with their teachers happily left the Christmas light-decked restaurant.
