CHED names 5 Central Luzon HEIs as SIKAP grant-delivering institutions

CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) — The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has named five higher education institutions (HEIs) in Central Luzon as delivering Higher Education Institutions (DHEIs) under the Scholarship for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) for Academic Year 2025-2026.

These include the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology and Wesleyan University-Philippines in Nueva Ecija; and Bulacan State University, First City Providential College, Inc., and La Consolacion University-Philippines in Bulacan.

These institutions formalized their partnership with CHED Regional Office III through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement, solidifying their collaboration in delivering quality graduate education in the region.

The Commission on Higher Education signs a Memorandum of Agreement with five higher education institutions in Central Luzon identified as delivering Higher Education Institutions under the Scholarship for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program for Academic Year 2025-2026. These include the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology and Wesleyan University-Philippines in Nueva Ecija; and Bulacan State University, First City Providential College, Inc., and La Consolacion University-Philippines in Bulacan. CHED Regional Director Lora Yusi reaffirmed the agency’s strong commitment to supporting these institutions in delivering high-quality postgraduate education.

She emphasized that these HEIs not only uphold the highest standards of academic excellence but also demonstrate institutional competence and diligence in meeting the stringent requirements necessary to qualify as DHEIs.

The CHED-SIKAP Program aims to advance faculty development by providing comprehensive scholarship packages to eligible teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Its beneficiaries will receive financial privileges, including tuition and fees, a stipend, and a research allowance until degree completion.
