ALIAGA, Nueva Ecija – A suspected peddler of illegal drugs survived a gun attack by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Barangay San Pablo Matanda this municipality Wednesday.
PO3 Philip Cajucom, town police investigator, said Eduardo Bayudan, 35, resident of the said village was “in stable condition” in a hospital in Cabanatuan City.
Investigation showed that Bayudan, who was no. 7 in the police drug list, was walking on a service road when shot by the unidentified suspect on board a motorcycle at around 9:30 a.m.
“The victim sustained minor injury (gunshot wounds) on his left chest and was rushed to the hospital,” police said.
Investigation is being conducted to identify the suspect.
