CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) — The Pag-IBIG Fund and Nueva Ecija Good Samaritan Health System Inc. signed two memorandum of agreements to provide discounted hospital services and loan-based medical assistance to Pag-IBIG members, healthcare workers, and their families.

Under the first agreement, members may avail of the Health and Education Loan Programs (HELPs), which offer a 6 percent discount on room rates, laboratory services, and imaging procedures, with loan proceeds sent directly to the hospital.

The second agreement provides a 5 percent discount on the same services for holders of the Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus, covering both inpatient and outpatient care.

Pag-IBIG Fund Area Head for Member Services Operations Central Luzon II Ruben Galamay said the Loyalty Card Plus also functions as a government-issued ID, ATM, and savings card through partner banks Asia United Bank and Union Bank.

“This partnership ensures that Pag-IBIG members, our healthcare workers, and their families receive timely financial and medical support, especially during life’s most difficult moments,” said Good Samaritan Medical Center Chief Operating Officer Richard Lirio.

Good Samaritan Medical Center President Oscar Deus said the agreement, signed in time for the hospital’s 47th anniversary, is a milestone reflecting their shared mission to serve the Filipino people.(CLJD/MCAL, PIA Region 3-Nueva Ecija GIP)
