CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The city government has launched Pyestang Fernandino 2025, one of the city’s most significant cultural, historical, and religious events, held annually in honor of St. Ferdinand, the city’s patron saint. The grand celebration will culminate on May 30 with over 30 vibrant events showcasing the unique Kapampangan ingenuity, hospitality, and resilience.

Recognizing the vital role of the private sector in the success of the city’s programs and festivities, Mayor Vilma B. Caluag signed Executive Order No. CMO2025-005, formally creating the Pyestang Fernandino 2025 Executive Committee. Comprising nearly 30 members from both the government and private sectors, the committee is tasked with organizing and overseeing the month-long celebration.

This year’s festival is spearheaded by the mayor herself as honorary chairperson; Vice Mayor BJ “Tiger” Lagman, honorary vice-chairperson; councilor Brenz Gonzales, chairperson; Ricardo “Jun” Pineda Jr. and Gil Kristian David of the Rotary Club of San Fernando Pampanga, co-chairpersons.

With the theme, “King Pámanyúlung ning Balen a Pákamálan, ing Kultura, Kasaleséyan at Kasalpantayánan álî la dápat makakalinguan”, this year’s festivities promise to be a meaningful tribute to San Fernando’s roots and aspirations.

From tributes to farmers and entrepreneurs to youth and sports programs, arts, and cultural showcases, Pyestang Fernandino 2025 offers a full calendar of events celebrating the people who contribute to the city’s dynamic growth. The celebration is not just a feast—it is a symbol of the city’s development and the Fernandinos’ unwavering pride in their identity.

As the city positions itself as a key tourism hub in the country, the local government remains committed to promoting San Fernando’s rich heritage, fostering community spirit, and driving inclusive growth.
