DPWH Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala emphasized that the new facilities aim to enhance the learning experience while also serving as community support hubs in emergencies.

The buildings are equipped with comfort rooms, water tanks, fire safety equipment, new blackboards, wall fans, and closed-circuit television, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and convenient environment for both students and teachers.

Farala highlighted that these additional classrooms will ease overcrowding and improve learning conditions in Barangays San Agustin and San Manuel.

Funded through the Department of Education’s Basic Education Facilities Fund under the 2024 national budget, the P49-million projects were completed on schedule. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
