A total of 158 applicants coming from different towns in Zambales were hired.
Sixty applicants for local employment and 21 for deployment abroad made up those hired on-the-spot in the job fair conducted simultaneously in different 44 locations nationwide in celebration of the 114th Labor Day anchored on the theme “ Kinabukasan Sigurado sa Disenteng Trabaho”.
Seventeen companies, nine local and eight licensed agencies, participated in the event here and interviewed and hired the qualified applicants.
The local firms were Expert Global Solutions Inc., Saulog Transit, Inc., Sanford Marketing Corp. (SM Savemore), Faith in God Recruitment, Placement and Manpower Services Corp., Janby Marketing Corp., Motortrade Nationwide Corp., Ventanas Philippine Construction Inc., 3C’s Industrial Staffing Solutions Inc. and AZ Contracting System Services Inc.
Those that offered employment abroad were Orange International Recruitment Services Inc., Grander Employment and Manpower Services, Inc., Alpha Tomo (P) International Manpower Services, Inc., Sunway International Manpower Services Inc., Pacific Star International Employment Agency Corp., Aquavir International Inc. and Starborne International Promotions and Manpower Corp.
The event also staged Multi Service Caravan conducted by government agencies including TESDA, Social Security System and PhilHealth. Pre-screening of passports was also conducted.
