SPO1 Marian Trinidad of city police Station 4 said relatives of the victim who escaped from her Korean captors Monday morning reported the incident to the police.
The victim remained at the Ospital ning Angeles as of yesterday after suffering from bruises in different parts of her body, including her neck. She recalled to police that she initially met a Korean male whom she identified only as “Mr. Lee” through a social network site and they agreed to meet in a bar along Fields Avenue last Sunday night.
Police probers said the victim might have been drugged before she was brought to a local hotel. The victim said that seven other Koreans raped her there, before she was brought to another hotel where Mr. Lee also raped her.
The victim said she escaped after Mr. Lee fell asleep.
Trinidad said television monitor footages caught the initial meeting between the victim and her internet friend.
“We have sought the help of the local Korean association to help us pin down the Korean in the footage so that from there, we can also track down the others,” she said.
Trinidad said that despite lack of identities of the suspects so far, the police had already alerted airports about the rape incident and the possibility that the suspects would leave the country.
The nearby Clark International Airport has regular daily flights to Incheon in Korea.
