SUBIC, Zambales — -Six suspects were arrested and P85,000-worth of shabu was seized in a joint operation of the Subic police, provincial drug enforcement and intelligence units, and the 2nd provincial mobile force company at Purok 6A, Barangay Calapacuan here on March 8.
Subic police OIC Major Bryan Christopher Baybayan said the operation led by Captain Felix Laron resulted to the arrest of drug watch-listed Judelito Alburo y Briz alias Dudong, 33, Sheryl Reyes, 43, and Jerry Maure y Borinaga, 48, all of Purok 6A, Barangay Calapacuan; Jerome Cezar Rodriguez y Lonzon, 33, of Barangay Aningway; Julie Marie Beato y Pajarillo, 43, of Barangay Ilwas; and Jayson Juico, 31, of Purok 3, Barangay Matain, all in Subic town.
Confiscared from the suspects were the buy-bust item of one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, the buy-bust money of one P500 bill bearing serial number VP 454017, 12 small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, one open transparent plastic sachet with suspected shabu, one aluminum foil serving as improvised runway with suspected shabu traces, two rolled aluminum foils serving as improvised tooter with suspected shabu traces, two disposable lighters, one pair of scissors, and one black coin purse.
The confiscated shabu weighed some 12.5 grams with estimated street value of P85,000.
All the suspects were detained at Subic MPS facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
