The Department of Trade and Industry Region 3 (DTI-3), in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship–Go Negosyo (PCE-GN), celebrated the graduation of 47 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who successfully completed the 2026 Kapatid Mentor ME–Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) Online Program Batch 2.
Representing Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales, the graduates completed ten learning modules covering key areas such as entrepreneurial mindset, product development, marketing, operations, basic taxation, business law, and financial management.
Their journey culminated in the presentation of their Business Improvement Plans (BIPs) before a panel of representatives from government agencies and the financial sector. The plans provided concrete strategies for strengthening their businesses and pursuing new opportunities.
The KMME-MME Program is DTI’s flagship mentoring initiative which combines mentorship, money access, and market linkage to help micro and small enterprises become more competitive and sustainable.
In her message, DTI Secretary Maria Cristina A. Roque congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to apply their learnings, embrace innovation, strengthen financial discipline, and maximize digital tools and market opportunities.
PCE-GN Founder Joey Concepcion likewise emphasized perseverance, passion, and sound cash flow management as essential to building resilient enterprises.
For DTI-3 Regional Director Edna D. Dizon, the real work begins after graduation.
“The true value of this program is not the certificate you receive today, but the knowledge you apply and the progress you achieve in your businesses. Let your Business Improvement Plans serve as living roadmaps as you pursue new opportunities, strengthen your operations, and explore both local and export markets,” RD Dizon said.
More than completing ten modules, the 47 entrepreneurs leave the program with new perspectives, stronger networks, clearer plans, and renewed confidence to take their businesses forward.
Through KMME-MME and other enterprise development initiatives, DTI-3 continues to empower MSMEs to strengthen their capabilities, access wider markets, embrace innovation, and build more sustainable enterprises.
