BALANGA CITY — The Bataan police on Monday reported the arrest of four suspected drug traders and the seizure of P442,000-worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in a barangay in Mariveles, Bataan last Friday.
Col. Romell Velasco, Bataan police director, said the raiding team recovered from the drug personalities, three men and a woman, more or less 65 grams of shabu with estimated street value of P442,000.
Personnel of the Bataan provincial police drug enforcement unit, provincial intelligence unit, 2 nd provincial mobile force company and the Mariveles municipal police station led by Maj. Phoe Pangan conducted the operation.
The raid in Barangay Lucanin was in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The police director said that filing of cases for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are being prepared against the suspects.
“The relentless anti-illegal drug operations of the Philippine National Police in Bataan will continue to make sure that the province will stay secure, peaceful and a safe place to live,” Velasco said.
