OLONGAPO CITY — Joint elements of the city police drug enforcement unit and Police Station 4 arrested three suspected drug pushers in buy-bust operation in Barangay New Cabalan Wednesday.
Acting city police director, Col. Jeric Villanueva said the operations led by Lt. Allan Delos Reyes inside a compound at Luna Street, Purok 2, New Cabalan led to the arrest of Reynaldo Pacamara y Soliva, 42 and Maverick Esguerra, 19, both residents of the said place; and Julius Zaragoza y Villanueva, 40, of No. 15 Adamos Street, Block 3, Gordon Heights, this city.
A police poseur-buyer was able to buy from the suspects one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu approximately weighing 0.23 grams worth P500.
After the transaction, police pounced on the suspects and placed them under arrest. Recovered from them were another 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets all containing suspected shabu with a total approximate weight of 50 grams with an estimated market value of P340,000 and marked money.
All suspects are now detained at the drug enforcement unit custodial facility facing charges for violation of Section 5, 26B in relation to Section 5 and Section11, Article II of RA 9165 before the Olongapo City Prosecutor’s Office.
