DINALUPIHAN, Bataan: Fire of still unknown cause gutted down three houses of three siblings at the Layac Junction here on Saturday night.
FSInsp. Thaddeus Tadeo, Dinalupihan fire chief, said that they received a call about the fire at 6:56 in the evening and they rushed to the fire scene at 7:02 p.m.
“Umabot sa ikalawang alarma ang sunog, then nag-under control ng 7:58 p.m., then nagfire out ng 8:18pm. Sa ngayon under investigation pa. Ang estimated damages according sa standard operating procedure namin umabot ng P180,000 more or less at ang mga apektadong pamilya ay umabot ng tatlong pamilya. Bale tatlong bahay ang natupok,” the fire chief said.
He said that 10 fire trucks responded with five from the Bureau of Fire Protection and five from volunteers.
Tadeo said they were on the burnt houses on Sunday to continue the investigation as to the cause of fire.
Elynor Esconde said she and her two siblings owned the affected houses.
She said she told her children to immediately get out of the house.
Walang nailabas na gamit,” Esconde said. (30)
