ZARAGOZA, Nueva Ecija – Three suspected illegal drug traffickers were arrested in an early morning buy-bust operation in Barangay Carmen here Friday.
Police identified the suspects as Ruben Javellana, 26, of Barangay San Isidro; Alvin Faraon, 42, of Barangay Batitang, both of this town; and Mark Adam Miguel, 31, of Caramutan, La Paz, Tarlac;
Town police chief Major Jaime Ferrer said the three were arrested in a buy-bust hatched by drug enforcement unit operatives headed by deputy police chief Capt. Jimmy Managuit at about 11:30 am.
The suspects yielded 13 small sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P16,500, Ferrer said.
Police also recovered the buy-bust money.
“(The) suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to this station for proper disposition,” he reported.
Criminal complaints for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law were filed against the suspects, he added.
