HERMOSA, Bataan – Three tricycle drivers were arrested by the town police in simultaneous anti-drug operations here Sunday.
Police Major Jeffrey Onde, head of Hermosa PNP, said first nabbed in Barangay Sumalo was Jake Torres, 23, of Barangay Saba. Recovered from him were four transparent plastic sachets of shabu and the marked money. In follow-up operations, Joseph Torres, 41, of Barangay Balsik, and Miguel De Jesus, 54, of Barangay Daungan were arrested, yielding eight transparent plastic sachets of shabu, the P500 marked money, a cellphone, and a motorized tricycle purportedly used in their illegal activities. All the suspects were locked up at Hermosa PNP detention cell facing charges for violation of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
