CLARK FREEPORT – At least 2,000 workers are needed in this Freeport to fill up vacancies mostly in Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms.
In a report to Clark Development Corp. (CDC) President and CEO Felipe Antonio Remollo, the Clark Services Department (CSD) said there are 1,981 job openings in the first two months. At least 50 percent of the total figures or 1,010 are needed by IT and BPO companies.
Among the possible IT/BPO job vacancies are web designers and developers, programmers, technical support operators, Linux and Windows Systems administrators, English online teachers, and call center agents.
The CSD report said there are job openings at Cyber City Teleservices, Inc., Sutherland Global Services, among others.
It added that the Industrial sector or the garments and sewing industry are in need of 308 workers as of February 29 The industrial electronics and industrial manufacturing firms are in need of 129 workers.
Workers can also apply at Aderans, Creamline, Multi-tek, Outback, and RD Policapio.
Other firms needed to fill up there vacancies are Texas Instruments in Clark, NanoxPhils., Inc., Phoenix Semiconductor Phils. Corporation, PoongsanMicrotecPhils., Corporation, and SMK Electronics (Phils.) Corporation.
