City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Fifteen (15) Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Region 3 will join the International Food Exhibition (IFEX) from May 26-28, 2023 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
IFEX, now on its 16th edition, is the Philippine’s biggest international food trade fair show. The event is organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) export promotions arm.
More than 500 exhibitors are expected to join and showcase a diverse range of food products. Setting their booth at the exhibit are 4 MSMEs from Bulacan, 2 MSMEs each from Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales and 1 from Aurora province.
The participating producers are GMA Farms, Bagakeño Cashew Nuts and Gen. Merchandise, Amanda’s Marine Products, Sta. Maria Dairy, Seven C Corporation, Angel-Spice Mushroom Station, RamC Food Industry, Forturo Foods Manufacturing, RedJ Mushroom Farm, Lola Puring’s Food Products, Apung Ota Brownies and Delicacies, RP Corpus Sales Enterprise, Pindangan MPC, Green Thumb Agri Products and Sonia’s Sweets.
Apart form the exhibit area, 6 more MSMEs from Pampanga will set their booth in the seller’s area. These are Aiza’s Sweets, Sasmuan Delicacies, Lola Puring’s Food Products, RPO Fine Foods, John and Mico Food Products, and Lailen’s Pastries.
The CL MSMEs were assisted by DTI Regional Office 3 through trainings, livelihood kits, facilities, and other entrepreneurial programs. They will exhibit the best of the region’s food products including cashew nuts, coco jams, peanut butter, bagoong and dried fish, yoghurt and other dairy products, fruit juices, chicharon, mushroom chips, pastries, candies, bottled sweets, processed mangoes and many more.
“Our MSMEs are glad that IFEX is back in person after having digital versions during the pandemic. They will surely exhibit the best quality products of Central Luzon,” DTI-3 OIC Regional Director Brigida T. Pili said.
IFEX is a premier food trade fair with business-to-business platform for food companies to launch their products, discover new markets, and transact with big buyers.
“We are hoping that our MSMEs will not only have the chance to show their products but also to link them to leading buyers locally and internationally,” OIC RD Pili continued.
