BALANGA CITY — Bataan recorded zero death from the coronavirus disease on the second day Friday with the number of active cases continuing to go down, Gov. Albert Garcia announced Saturday night.
The number of casualties stayed at 1,198 while active cases was listed at 126.
The active cases are in Dinalupihan – 24, Mariveles – 19, Balanga City – 17, Samal – 17, Hermosa – 13, Orani – 9, Limay – 9, Pilar – 8, Bagac – 3, Morong – 3, Orion – 2, and Abucay – 2.
Confirmed cases for the day are also considerably decreasing with only four registered on Friday, causing the total number of those who were tested positive of the virus to 29,415.
New confirmed cases were only in Balanga City and Orani at two each.
Twenty-three, on the other hand, newly-recovered bringing the total recoveries to 28,091. The new recoveries are from Orani (5), Limay (4), Mariveles (4), Orion (4), Balanga City – 2, and one each from Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Pilar and Samal.
