OLONGAPO CITY – The Provincial Highway Patrol Team-Zambales (PHPT-Zambales) bagged the number one over-all performance rating in Central Luzon for the 1st Quarter of 2010 with the average score of 88.33 percent.
A Certificate of Merit was given to Chief Inspector Noel Nunez, PHPT-Zambales, provincial officer, by Senior Supt. Edgardo Tinio, chief regional highway patrol unit 3 (RHPU3), during the recent command conference held at Suzuki Hotel Function Room, Barangay Barretto, Olongapo City.
The PHPT-Zambales was rated based in administrative, investigative, operational and police community relations.
Nunez said that there was no carnapping/theft of vehicles recorded in the first quarter of this year compared in the same period in 2009.
Nunez added that from January to March 2010, the PHPT-Zambales have recovered 12 stolen vehicles and motorcycles.
