CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – “What we want to feel is Panlilio’s leadership. We need to see him perform and not simply manifest good governance.”
Thus said Junior Chamber International Philippines (JCIP) area training director Manuel Divina on Gov. Eddie Panlilio when asked to comment about his leadership and performance.
Divina of Magalang town said “Panlilio may be a good person but not a good leader.” The youth leader was interviewed with veteran journalists Bong Lacson of Punto Central Luzon and Ashley Manabat of Banner in a recent live television talk show here.
Divina rated Panlilio an average of 50 in scale of one to 100 on at least three categories such as support of youth and governance.
“I voted for Panlilio. I have every right to criticize his performance,” said Divina, adding that he will no longer support the candidacy of Panlilio against former Senior Board Member Lilia Pineda and a certain Ricardo Ocampo of Mexico town.
Divina said the youth should have been given “much attention and time” by the first-term governor.
Panlilio failed to return text messages and calls despite repeated tries by this reporter.
