Thus said Clark Development Corp. (CDC) officials led by President and CEO Benny Ricafort during the turn-over ceremony for the new president of Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) here on Wednesday.
Ricafort and other CDC officials were referring to Takayuki Hamaya, newly-assigned YTPI President and CEO who is 42 years old. He replaced Hikomitsu Noji who was promoted and assigned at the Yokohama main office in Japan.
Hamaya, a sports buff and speed skating player, will be the 8th president and CEO of YTPI since its inception in 1997.
Ricafort gave a local “lambanog” wine and a T-shirt to Noji as his expression of appreciation.
Noji, in his speech, thanked the YTPI officials and workers for their accomplishments for the past two years. He was assigned at YTPI plant in 2007.
Others CDC officials who graced the simple turnover ceremony at the Holiday Inn here were Ernesto Gorospe, Sonny Lopez and Philip JB Panlilio.
George Sorio, top executive of the CyberCity Teleservices, was also present.
