CLARK FREEPORT — Pres. Aquino’s Tarlac home province will have 10 new mayors, five of them women.
Tarlac has 17 towns and one component city.
The women elected as new mayors include Lita Aquino of Moncada, Betty Lacbayan of Anao, Nora Madomo of Sta. Ignacia, Elma Macadamia of San Clemente and Cristy Angeles as Tarlac City’s first female chief executive.
The Commission on Elections in Tarlac also proclaimed as first term mayoral winners Erlon Agustin of Camiling, Eloy Eclar of Gerona, Max Roxas of Paniqui, Marvin Silao of Victoria and former Clark International Airport Corp. vice president Rey Catacutan of Capas.
Catacutan was a three-term mayor of Capas before he assumed his CIAC post.
