ICYMI, “shapps” has been in TikTok videos, comments, and posts as a positive compliment. Well now we know what it means. “Shapps” was created as a shortened version of Pocky’s tagline “Share Happiness” in an effort to spread happiness in time for Pocky Day 11.11.

 

Since the internet faces so much drama and toxicity on the daily, Pocky took notes from Gen Z’s creative and expressive vocabulary to counteract with positivity. If something makes you so happy that you want to share it, it’s shapps! 

 

Just hit a clip in an fps, or pulled your favorite gacha character? Shapps! 

Is your bestie a slay? So shapps. Tell them to take a fit pic! 

 

Want to tell someone they’re shapps? Share happiness by joining the Pocky SHAPPS Cha11enge with the branded effect and use the #PockySHAPPSCha11enge in your videos.

The new Pocky range was launched in the Philippines on June 8 in 2022 to suit the changing consumption scene and purchasing behavior in Southeast Asia.
