Samal, Bataan: The Commission on Elections municipal office on Monday, first day of voter’s registration for the May 12, 2025 elections, shouted out plans to hold satellite registration in each of the 14 barangays here.
Municipal election officer Maribeth Abadecio said they began accepting some registrants this morning that will last until September 30 this year. “May ilan nang nagpa-rehistro.”
She hoped there will be more but said she could not say how many will avail of the registration because usually, registrants come during the last few days of the registration period.
Abadecio wanted to bring the registration process right in each barangay to convince more voters to register and to save the registrants of transportation expenses.
