CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Board Member Raul Macalino and his aide were injured after figuring in a freak road accident in Quezon City Tuesday night, reports said.
Macalino, who represents Pampanga’s third district in the provincial board and who is also running for vice mayor, and his aide identified as Albert Parungao were injured in an accident along Mindanao Avenue in Barangay Bahay Toro, according to a radio dzBB report on Wednesday.
The report said initial investigation showed that whoever was driving Macalino’s sports-utility vehicle lost control as they were driving southwards. They reportedly crashed into a concrete barrier then crossed over to the northbound part of the road. The vehicle hit a portion of an apartment where it finally came to a stop.
Keith Ernald Macalino posted a message in the board member’s wall on his Facebook account saying, “get well tito, cousin says he’s ok with minimal bone fractures.”
