Vhong Navarro attended the presscon of “Buy Now Die Later” with some bodyguards. So mahirap, eh.”

Is he scared that the beatings he received last year from Cedric Lee and friends might have a take 2?

Is he amenable to an amicable settlement of the case against Cedric and friends?

Vhong is better known as a comedian but in “Buy Now Die Later”, he plays a straight dramatic role as Odie, an online blogger who wants to be like his famous photojournalist dad. He buys a magic camera from the mysterious Santi, played by TJ Trinidad. It helps him gets scoops, like the murder of a celebrity that he posts in his blog and becomes a hit. But soon, weird things start happening to him and it’s obvious that his new found popularity comes with a dangerous price.

“I enjoyed making the movie with our director, Randolph Longjas, who’s even younger than me. He’s full of fresh ideas and our movie is sure to give the audience a good scare when it opens in theaters on Christmas Day.”
