VALERIE CONCEPCION is now part of ABS-CBN’s afternoon series, Kadenang Ginto, which is the former timeslot rival of her defunct GMA-7 series, Ika-5 Utos.
Valerie is now part of the cast of the Kapamilya Gold series Kadenang Ginto.
She first appeared in the afternoon series yesterday, March 12.
Valerie is introduced in Kadenang Ginto as Cindy, the new nemesis of Romina (Beauty Gonzalez).
Coincidentally, Kadenang Ginto is the rival program of Valerie’s last GMA-7 series, Ika-5 Utos.
Ika-5 Utos, starring Jean Garcia and Gelli de Belen, aired from September 2018 to February 2019.
Valerie started her career via GMA-7’s youth-oriented series, Click, in 2002.
She also top-billed afternoon shows such as Walang Hanggan (2003), Now and Forever: Mukha (2005), and Sine Novela: Sinasamba Kita (2007).
After Sinasamba Kita, Valerie decided to become a freelance actress and became a host of ABS-CBN’s Wowowee until 2010.
She was also able to do the drama projects Precious Hearts Romances: Bud Brothers (2009), Precious Hearts Romances: Love Me Again (2010), 100 Days To Heaven (2011), E-boy (2012), and May Isang Pangarap (2013).
In 2011, while doing 100 Days To Heaven, Valerie was also seen in TV5’s prime-time series, Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak.
In 2013, Valerie returned to GMA-7 to play the villain in the remake of Anna Karenina.
From there, she started doing projects with ABS-CBN and GMA-7 intermittently.
She became part of ABS-CBN’s Annaliza (2013), Flordeliza (2015), FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2016), and The Good Son (2017). In GMA-7, Valerie was a part of the teleseryes My BFF (2014), Because of You (2015), Mulawin vs. Ravena (2017), and Ika-5 Utos (2018-2019).
Valerie also appeared in ABS-CBN and GMA-7’s drama anthologies. Meanwhile, Kadenang Ginto opened its second season on February 25.

MARA CLARA stars Gladys Reyes and Judy Ann Santos reunite at the soccer game of their respective sons.
Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes made ‘90s kids feel nostalgic last Sunday, March 10.
It was after Gladys posted a photo with Judy Ann on h e r Instagram account.
The two were together during a soccer game event where their respective sons were participants.
Aside from Judy Ann, Gladys also had a photo with another ‘90s star, Camille Prats.
Gladys captioned the Instagram post, “Supportive Soccer mommies! #maraclaraandprincesssara”
Judy Ann, Gladys, and Camille top-billed successful and iconic projects in the ‘90s.
Judy Ann and Gladys were the lead stars of the classic drama series, Mara Clara, aired on ABS-CBN from 1992-1997.
Judy Ann played Mara, while Gladys gave life to Clara.
Camille, on the other hand, played the lead character in the movie, Sarah: Ang Munting Prinsesa, produced by ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema in 1995.
Sarah: Ang Munting Prinsesa is the Filipino adaptation of the 1985 Nippon Animation anime, Princess Sarah, which was based on the children’s novel, A Little Princess.
At present, Gladys and Camille are now with GMA-7, while Judy Ann is considered ABSCBN’s Queen of Pinoy Soap Opera.
