SAN NARCISO, Zambales – Three suspects were arrested while P432,000-worth of marijuana was seized in a drug buy-bust operation by joint operatives of the Zambales police in Barangay Simminublan here at about 10:55 a.m., on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
A report reaching the office of Zambales police director Col. Fitz Macariola said the operatives headed by Maj. Ramil Menor, acting chief of police of San Narciso, together with the provincial drug enforcement and intelligence units and the 2nd provincial mobile force company conducted the drug bust that resulted to the arrest of Darewyll John Dano, 23, of Barangay San Pascual; Jude Fortin Balmaceda, 24, of Barangay San Juan; and Joey Lopez Deocareza, 21, of Barangay Grullo, all of San Narciso town.
Confiscated from the suspects were four blocks of marijuana and 11 transparent plastic sachets of marijuana with a total weight of 3,600 grams with a street value of P432,000.
The suspects are now detained at San Narciso MPS facing charges for violation of Section 5 in relation to 26b, and Section 11 of Article II of RA 9165.
