OLONGAPO CITY — A tricycle driver was arrested by operatives of Police Station 6 (PS6) of the Olongapo City Police Office in a buy–bust operation along the National Highway, corner Abra Street, Barangay Barretto here.
Acting PS6 commander Capt. Wrigley Tiglao identified the suspect as Joselito Bernal y Delos Santos, 51, resident of Purok 13, Barangay Barretto.
Report said that about 2 p.m. on August 8, the drug enforcement unit of PS6 conducted the buy–bust and nabbed suspect in the act of selling a sachet of shabu worth P200.
Recovered from the suspect were 21 transparent plastic sachets of shabu, sling bag, and the sting money.
The suspect who is in the drug watchlist of PS6 is now detained at the station’s cell facing charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article ll of RA 9165.
