TRACK LOSES BRAKES:
    1 killed, 20 injured

    SUBIC, ZAMBALES – One killed while 20 other contractual employees of Hanjin Heavy Industries Company, Ltd. were injured when their six-wheeler Elf truck lost its brakes while travelling the Cabangaan Road in Barangay Cawag of this town, Monday morning.

    Report reaching the office of Sr. Supt. Rolando Felix, Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) director, the victim was identified as Danilo Enriquez, 50, resident of Esteban St., Barangay New Ilalim, Olongapo City. He was declared dead-on-arrival at James Gordon Memorial Hospital.

    Report said the service Elf truck (RHJ-441) lost its brakes while travelling the Cabangaan Road at around 7 p.m.. and fell at the ravine.

    The truck carrying 20 workers under the Sea Marine Company was driven by Romulo Millora, Jr.

    The report also added that “Enriquez was thrown away from the truck that caused his death.”

    The 20 passengers were rushed to the San Marcelino District Hospital and James Gordon Memorial Hospital in Olongapo City for treatment.
