IBA, Zambales – An alleged top drug pusher here was arrested by joint operatives of the Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Zambales Criminal Investigation and Detection Team (ZCIDT) during a raid in Barangay Palanginan, this town, Friday afternoon.
ZPPO Director, Sr. Supt. Rolando Felix identified suspects as Datu Ali Omar, 48, president of the Zambales Muslim Federation and a resident of said Barangay.
Major Ferdinand Marcelino, director of the Special Enforcement Services of PDEA, Chief Inspector Rogelio Peñones, Jr., and Zambales Police led the raid and arrested the suspect at about 3:30 p.m. by virtue of Search Warrant issued by Judge Cieleto Mindaro-Grulla, 1st vice executive judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC), National Capital Region Branch 29.
Recovered from suspect include one kilo of suspected shabu, one heat sealed plastic sachet of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, one caliber 45 pistol, one caliber 22 riffle, one digicam, five mobile phones, two MP4 PSP, three wallets, marked money amounting to P43,000 and one SUV sportivo with plate no. ZTE-913.
Suspects were now in custody of PDEA.
