Ernesto Nakpil, 38, of Sta. Rosa, Pilar, Bataan, president of the Pilar Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association (Piltoda) slumped dead at the driver’s seat of his motorcycle as a big number of onlookers surrounded him. The victim worked for sometime as jail guard of the Bataan Provincial Jail.
Police investigators from the Balanga police station and Scene of the Crime Operatives inspected the crime scene for vital information. They recovered two empty shells and a deformed slug from a caliber .45 pistol.
Myra Nakpil said her husband had not told her of any threat to his life or of any “kagalit”. She and other relatives watched as the body of her husband lie slouched on the tricycle marked “Piltoda”.
