Please be informed that we have received the Report on the Results of the Audit/ Investigation on Selected Transactions of the City Government of Tarlac (CGT) for CY 2016-2018 on April 28, 2025.
Among the contents are Audit Findings and Recommendations requesting the City Government of Tarlac to submit answers as a matter of audit procedure. No Notice of Disallowance has been issued.
We strongly believe that the recent COA audit report against the CGT under the leadership of Mayor Cristy Angeles is politically motivated, as evidenced by the timing of the report’s release and the coordinated posting on social media. This pattern clearly indicates a calculated effort to undermine the accomplishments of this administration.
For the record, the CGT, under Mayor Cristy Angeles, has been a recipient of Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping since 2017 to the present and has maintained a track record of sound financial management and transparency.
