The Warning sure to happen

THROUGH OVER two decades, my writings, culled from prophecies from modern-day Marian apparitions and other supernatural events worldwide, often cited fearful things to come because of the surge of great evils in our times. The fulfillment of the prophecies often revolved around the year 2000. But that’s 16 years ago and the world is still turning as usual, the day still giving in to night as it did in Moses’s Genesis.

Of course, we are now seeing the abnormality of weather which we blame on climate change. There are also mass deaths of birds, creatures of the seas, even animals on land; strange trumpet-like sounds coming from various skies; lights more known as UFOs dancing more frequently up above; sinkholes becoming more urban and eating up roads even in cities, wars and rumors of wars, etc.

But even these are inadequate. They are not in the proportion of the biblical. Not stupendous. Not in the level of God’s wrath. Certainly, not fitting the horrendous catastrophes forewarned by seers bearing apocalyptic tidings.

Ergo, doubt is called for in the prophecies. Had I been wrong all along and my writings on these, as culled from supernatural apparitions, were but hoax?

Not at all. Up to now, I am convinced on the truth of the prophecies, including those that are to surely happen and a chastisement that could happen unless people change bad lives and return to God.

It is just that there has been a delay in the unfolding of the prophecies. This was declared by Jesus Christ Himself when He told Saint Faustina Kowalska of Poland as follows:

“I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation.”

So there. The statement did not cancel the prophecies including those that will surely happen. In her various modern-day apparitions, the Blessed Mother was reported to have cited a “warning” as inevitable.

This is to be followed by a “great miracle” meant for the conversion of sinners and, if people are not converted, a great, unprecedented chastisement.

Again, let us dwell on these. First, the inevitable warning.

Garabandal visionary Conchita Gonzalez was given a vision of the warning. She described it thus:

“The warning will be like a revelation of our sins. It will be experienced by believers and non-believers and by people of all religions. The most important thing about that day is that everyone in the whole world will see a sign, a grace or a punishment within themselves – in other words, a warning. They will find themselves all alone in the world no matter where they are at the time, alone with their conscience right before God. They will then see all their sins and what their sins have caused. It’s a phenomenon which will be seen and felt in all the world; I have always given as an example that of two stars that collide. This phenomenon will not cause physical harm but it will horrify us, because at that very moment, we will see our souls and the harm we have done.”

Marian visionary Giuseppe Auricchia of Avola, Italy, also received a similar message from the Blessed Mother in 1990. He quoted the Blessed Mother as having said as follows: “

…There will come a day when you will see two stars clashing in the sky and the letter A at the side of them. This phenomenon will fi ll men with horror and will be seen and felt all over the world… Each one of you will receive a sign, a grace or a punishment, which is called a warning. At that moment, all of you will sense you are alone. Wherever you may be, you will feel alone with your conscience. God alone will be before you. Each of you will see your own sins and each of you will necessarily react in a diff erent manner. This will depend on your conscience. What is important is that you recognize your own sins and their evil consequences. You will experience an interior sentiment of sorrow and pain for having off ended God… You will feel no physical pain and unless you have a stroke, you will not die because of the event… I tell you, at that moment everything will stop, and the human race will come back to itself and will examine itself interiorly. There will reign a great silence and emptiness. …Thus, I invite you in earnest to give yourself to prayer, to penance, to fasting and to the recitation of the Rosary.”

Jesus Himself also mentioned such a warning. St. Faustina quoted Him as follows:

“Write this: before I come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole Earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Saviour were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.”

The last day of what? More in the next column.
