The power of unlearning

MONTHS HAVE passed and I haven’t written a single article for my column. Work kept filing up on my desk overwhelmingly. Mornings turned to night swiftly, unknowingly.

Travels abroad and locally for holistic wellbeing seminar invites kept pouring relentlessly. Furthermore, attending to my patients who needed help plus the caring to my 15 adorable fur babies who constantly demand for my attention and affection.

I realized it wasn’t just my plate that was full, my whole table is. To restore and refresh my exhausted soul, India took me back to its comforting embrace.

While in quiet and aloneness. I reflected on so many happenings that passed for the past few years. I did too much – I sighed. It’s time to slowdown I told myself. It’s time to go home – to the trueness of my being.

The next day, I started writing all the things I used to do that kept my energy frequency up. Like doing regular cardio exercises, yoga, reading, writing, cooking – actions that kept me motivated but are slowly slipping away.

Aware and accepting the circumstances fully awake. I designed a strict schedule to go back to my usual rhythm and routine. Strongly motivated to work on it until again, it becomes my very nature – just like breathing – flowing naturally, automatically, effortlessly.

The process required unlearning some of the habits and systems acquired over time. For instance, putting your own interests aside for the sake of work or others. To the point that even time for self-rest is not in sight. Life balance is being compromised.

I am quite sure many can relate to this. To move forward. I vigilantly erased and uprooted all the causes of fluctuations that hindered my smooth flow, steadily. In a few days, I saw the remarkable transformation and the positive progress taking shape.

Continuously, each day, I kept editing and expanding my consciousness – daringly tested how far I can go. Believing only in limitless possibilities.

I hit the jackpot. I found myself with an unexpected lifetime opportunity. I met the highly respected spiritual scientist Doctor Shree, who uses the power of his creation pyramids to help many people around the world in any of their life concerns.

Eighteen years ago, a Japanese friend of mine gifted me with his book when I was in Mumbai. After reading the outstanding contents, I told myself: someday I will meet this extraordinary guru. Without warning and planning, the fateful day arrived – our sanctified paths crossed.

The unlearning and detoxing of all the infectious systems that is not truly part of who I am made sense after our unforgettable meeting. The heavens gave me time to prepare myself before synchronizing the momentous day.

Awareness gives tremendous assistance in discernment. It brings out wisdom. Lose to gain. Unlearn to learn.
My overflowing sincere gratitude to the stars that directed me towards the land of the mystics that paved the way for me to turn a new leaf, a new path – unseen, unknown – but my faith and trust overpower all.
Namaste.
