ABUCAY, Bataan — The Hauslands launched Saturday and started the two-day open house of its new residential subdivision project, the first in this province, adjacent to the MacArthur Highway here.
The 13.8-hectare project houses 697 lots and various spacious community amenities. It is located in Barangay Capitangan which is 3.5 kilometers from the Balanga City proper along the national road where passenger jeepneys and mini-buses pass.
The Hauslands has introduced three new modern contemporary homes in the area, “Lily”, “Pine” and “Magnolia” which are available for financing with special opening offer of investment starting at P20,941.79 a month.
Two-storey, single-attached and single-detached complete dwelling units have areas ranging from 88 to 120 square meters.
After the launch, the groundbreaking of the pavilion followed. It is a multi-purpose hall that includes offices, an indoor gym, outdoor kitchen and bar and a spacious veranda that will provide residents a proper venue for gatherings and social events.
Wilfredo Tan, Hausland Group president and chairman, said he fell in love with the area the first time he visited it.
He said that basically they chose the area because of his belief that Bataan leaders, from the governor to the Abucay town officials, are good who welcomed them with open arms.
“Naniniwala kami sa aming kumpanya na ang lahat po ng nakikita natin dito hindi po nanggaling sa amin. Nanggaling itong lahat sa Diyos at ibinabalik lang po namin by way of following what we feel is our mandate,” Tan said.
“Ang aming calling sa buhay ay to provide an affordable and decent housing sa bawat Filipino. Ito ang aming inspirasyon at sana tuloy-tuloy kami sa paggawa ng pabahay,” he added.
He thanked their partners like Landbank and Pag-IBIG Fund and other banks providing support to the owners by means of individual housing.
He said it was hard to own a house this time because of limited income. “Kung may mahabang sistema ng pagbabayad ay of course kakayanin ng mga tao kaya kailangan natin ang mga bangko para sa kanilang housing loan na nagbibigay ng mahabang taon ng pautang na 15 to 20 years,” Tan said.
He said that Pag-IBIG offers a longer payment scheme and has been their partner every year. “We believe that Pag-IBIG Fund ang kaantabay ng bawat manggagawang Filipino para sila ay makakuha ng long-term financing at low interest rate for 30 years,” he said.
Abucay Mayor Robin Tagle thanked Tan for choosing the town. He made the assurance that the municipal government will extend every assistance needed by the company. “Sa Abucay maganda ang peace and order. Walang hold-upper dito.”
