The aftermath of Mt. Pinatubo eruption and the deluge of ensuing lahars in 1995, buried the once beautiful resort, The Orchid Farm Resort, under seven feet of ashes and debris. On the very site where this popular resort once flourished, life begin anew and transformed the 2.5-hectare property into a distinct multi-recreational facility – unique in its design and attuned to nature and the community, The Orchid Gardens Resort Complex unleashed the Jewel of San Fernando.
According to the principal owner, a man of action, Nelson Castro, it is indeed a dream come true. Relentless planning, determination, and with the overwhelming support of his lovely wife Maureen Gepte-Castro and hard working team, a vision is no longer far-fetched but a reality. This demonstrates how Castro’s vision is one with the Kapampangans’ aspiration to enrich the quality of life in the area by building, empowering and offering the best of life has to off er.
On June 8 marked the historical grand opening of The Orchid Gardens Resort Complex highlighting the inauguration of the newest addition in the grandiose complex, The Forum and The Orchidarium (Event Centers). The two event centers are in a class of their own, both in functionality and aesthetics, undoubtedly vital in ensuring every event like wedding, birthday, corporate event and others transforms into that hustle-free, seamless and perfect moment.
Such a glamorous and all dressup inauguration night attended by different sectors in the society, politicians, businessmen and event suppliers.
