IBA, Zambales (PIA) — Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA) conducted a program orientation for scholars in the first district of Zambales.
About 250 scholars from the city of Olongapo and municipalities of Subic and San Marcelino will receive full scholarships including transportation allowance and assessment fee.
TESDA Provincial Director Melanie Grace Romero said training programs the scholars will undergo include Automotive Servicing NC I, Animal Production Ruminants NC II, Visual Graphics Design NC III, Electrical Installation NC II, Cookery NC II, and Bread and Pastry Production NC II.
For his part, Zambales 1st district representative Jay Khonghun expressed gratitude to TESDA for the program that ensures the development and enhancement of skills for the people in his jurisdiction.
He also urged the scholars to take the training opportunity seriously.
Other implementing technical vocational institutions were also present during the orientation and provided insights on the program competencies, learning outcomes, and schedule. (CLJD/RGP-PIA 3)
