BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Provincial Board of Canvassers on Tuesday afternoon officially proclaimed television star Teri Onor as one of the winners in the five-member Sangguniang Panlalawigan or Provincial Board in Bataan’s First district.
Onor, incumbent vice-mayor of Abucay town, got 85,969 votes from six of 11 towns and one city making her the top scorer in the first district. Bataan has two districts.
She belongs to the Nacionalista Party of losing Presidential candidate Manuel Villar. Onor was officially proclaimed with two other winners, Gaudencio Ferrer and Jojo Payumo, belonging to his group.
A separate proclamation was made for the other winners under the Lakas-CMD-Kampi Party.
