RIZAL, Nueva Ecija –– A public school teacher was gunned down by a man who reportedly concealed his identity with a face mask and bull cap in Barangay Poblacion Norte here at about 1:36 p.m. Monday.
Police identified the victim as Richard Peñaflor, 31, resident of the said place and teacher at Rizal National High School.
Investigator Senior Master Sgt. Marlon Concepcionsaid the suspect who used a still unspecified gun was wearing denim pants, white t-shirt, red face mask with bull cap, and stands 5’5″ to 5′6″ tall.
He said police were still trying to establish the motive behind the killing as they gather footage from close circuit television cameras near the crime scene.
“Manhunt operation is still ongoing and an autopsy examination was requested at the Nueva Ecija Crime Laboratory Office in Cabanatuan City,” police said.
In Guimba town, police are still trying to identify the suspects behind the killing of tricycle driver Patrick Pagaduan,35, in Zulueta Sub., Barangay Cawayan Bugtong, Sunday afternoon.
Pagaduan’s body was found riddled with bullets in his tricycle that was parked on a waiting shed in the said village.
