TARLAC CITY (PIA) — The Provincial Government of Tarlac (PGT), together with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), has reaffirmed the province’s State of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SSIPS) through the signing of a joint declaration.
This reaffirmation is in line with Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 391-2025, which formally acknowledges the sustained Tarlac’s SSIPS status.
Governor Christian Tell Yap underscored the strong collaboration between the provincial government, security forces, and other stakeholders in maintaining peace and order across the province.

“Sa sama-samang pagkilos, mas pinatatatag natin ang isang ligtas, mapayapa, at nagkakaisang Tarlac para sa bawat Tarlaqueño (Through our collective efforts, we are strengthening a safe, peaceful, and united Tarlac for every Tarlaqueño),” Yap said.
The ceremony also marked the signing of the Joint Security Implementation Plan, dubbed as “One Tarlac, One PLACE (PNP-LGU-AFP Collaborative Efforts)” aimed at strengthening coordination among the security sector, local government units, and community stakeholders for a peaceful and more secured Tarlac.
AFP Northern Luzon Command Commander Lieutenant General Aristotle Gonzalez said that “One Tarlac, One PLACE” will help address threats and respond quickly and effectively to emerging security concerns through enhanced information sharing, resource allocation, and community engagement.
Tarlac was initially placed under SSIPS through the Tarlac Provincial Peace and Order Council Resolution No. 2, Series of 2023. (CLJD/ AJRR, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
