Tarlac prov’l hospital dialysis, kidney center opens

The Tarlac Provincial Hospital Dialysis and Kidney Center and the Department of Health [DoH] Provincial Office were blessed and inaugurated last January 30 with top provincial officials and Region III health officials in attendance.

The opening of the first government owned Dialysis and Kidney Center in the province is aimed at expanding and improving the medical services to each Tarlaqueño.

In her message, Governor Susan Yap said that the facilities will help ease the burdens of Tarlaqueños who need to undergo dialysis treatment and other kidney related diseases.

“This will boast our health care capabilities,” Gov. Yap said adding that, “This is part of the continuous project of the Provincial Government of Tarlac with the DoH in line with the Health Facilities Enhancement Fund.”

For his part, DoH Region III Director Dr. Cesar Casion said the opening of the new provincial DoH office is a realization of another dream for DoH-Tarlac.

“This is a picture of true and active partnership for health between the provincial government of Tarlac and the DoH,” Casion said.

Gov. Yap and third district Representative Noel Villanueva led the ribbon cutting ceremony of the facilities.

Others in attendance were second district Representative Victor Yap, Vice Governor CarlitoCasada” David, Board Members Danilo Asiaten, Jude Joseph David, Dennis Go and Joy Gilbert Lamorena, DoH Facilities Enhancement Program Director Dr. Lolita Gorgolon, DoH USec for Field Implementation and Coordination Dr. Gerardo Baguyo and other regional and provincial DoH officials. –AFMC/PIO
