MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Garnier encourages Filipinos to take that #OneGreenStep towards sustainability. They are the first beauty brand in the Philippines to roll out the GREEN PARCEL initiative in its ecommerce stores on Shopee and Lazada. Since the launch of Green Parcel last June 2021, each delivery from Garnier is packed in a ToHS-certified paper box and protected with kraft paper tape instead of plastic tape, and recycled paper wrap from FSC-certified suppliers – no plastics or bubble wraps. Because of this initiative, 12,152 kg of plastics have been saved as of March 2022.
In 2021, Garnier also partnered with non-profit organization CORA or Communities Organized for Resource Allocation to donate 1 mangrove seedling for every All-Star Kit sold on Lazada. As a result, 6,593 mangrove seedlings have been donated and planted.
GARNIER IS DOING IT AGAIN THIS YEAR!
In celebration of Earth Day today, Garnier is partnering with CORA (Communities Organized for Resource Allocation) once again. 100% of profits from the All-Star Kits (Lazada) and the Super Glow Starter Kits (Shopee) sold on April 22 will be donated to the WoMangrove Warriors mangrove-planting efforts (exclusive for April 22, 2022 only). These mangrove seedlings will be planted to enhance biodiversity and help fight climate change in the islands and coastal communities of our country.
