HERMOSA, Bataan — A Taiwanese company is expanding its operation at the Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park here with its grand inauguration held Monday.
The YFC Boneagle Electronic Technology Philippines Corp. under the YFC Development Corp. is expanding its operation in the manufacture of power cords of 3C, copper LAN cables, patch cords and others used in e-commerce platforms and systems that have something to do with digital distribution channels.
Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton said that 700 new employment opportunities will be generated initially by the expansion program of the firm.
The mayor said this was part of the pledge of seven Taiwanese firms to expand operations in the country with investment worth P3.7 billion. He said that based on the report released by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, there are other manufacturing firms interested to operate in Hermosa.
The Hermosa Ecozone is under PEZA.
“Isang karangalan na tayo ay maimbitahan para sa ribbon-cutting ng YFC Boneagle Electronic Technology na isa na namang bagong mamumuhunan. Maraming salamat sa tiwala at pagpili sa aming progresibo at maunlad na Bayan ng Hermosa,” Inton said.
With the mayor in the grand inauguration were YFC director Garfield Tseng, CEO YFC Eagle (Taiwan) Arthur Hua, Taiwan Ambassador–TECO Michael Pei- yung Hsu, PEZA OIC director general Tereso Panga, Tarlac Congressmen Victor Yap and Christian Yap, Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion, and Dr. Bong Galicia, representative of Bataan Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III.
