CUYAPO, Nueva Ecija – Police arrested a woman tagged No. 8 in the municipal police’s most wanted list in Barangay Nagmisahan here at about 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Town police chief Lt. Col. Erwin Ferry identified the suspect as Maribel Ducay, 45, a vendor from the said village.
Records showed Ducay is charged for violation of the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995 (RA 8042 as Amended RA 10022) or illegal recruitment docketed under Criminal Case No. R-MNL-19-08717-CR before the Regional Trial Court Branch 55 in Manila.
Ferry said the suspect was arrested in an operation conducted by joint operatives from the local police’s intelligence and warrant sections led by Chief Master Sgt. Rhex Paramio.
The court has set a bail of P120,000 for her temporary liberty.
The arrested suspect is now at the custodial facility of the municipal police.
