STA CRUZ, Zambales — A homicide suspect hiding in Zambales after killing an entertainer in Malate, Manila in 2017 was arrested in Barangay Tubo-Tubo here.
In his report to Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) director Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, Jr., Sta. Cruz police chief Major Randy Mendoza identifi ed the suspect as Ace Mondragon y Rivas aka Ace Cy and Alexis Cy, 22, single and presently residing at Barangay Lucapon North, Sta Cruz.
Mondragon was arrested by elements of the Sta Cruz Municipal Police Station together with Police Station 9 of Manila Police District led by Police Capt. Gil John Lobaton and the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by RTC Branch 19, Manila issued by Judge Marlo A. Magdoza Malagar dated February 15, 2018 under Criminal Case No. R-MNL-17- 03779-CR with fixed bail of P40,000.
The suspect is now under the custody of MPD.
