ANGELES CITY – Super 8 Grocery-Warehouse opened its first branch in barangay Sto. Domingo here yesterday.
“We want to start strong in Pampanga and we believe in this city,” said officials of Super 8.
Stephen Sia, corporate affairs manager of Super 8, said their grocery’s location is an “ideal site considering it is also near City of San Fernando.”
He added that “they cater to sari-sari stores due to their competitive price.”
Sia and Kervin Valerio, New Store Group manager of Super 8, welcomed Acting Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting who attended the opening ceremonies highlighted by “dancing dragons.”
Cabigting, for her part, said “this is another good reason to believe in the administration of Mayor Ed.”
“To think there are more work opportunities for the Angelenos,” she said.
There are close to 300 workers at Super 8 and “most of them are from Angeles,” said Valerio.
No less than Angeles City First Lady Miniang Pamintuan was the first of many customers of Super 8 spotted by Punto yesterday.
Super 8 is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It also has food outlets.
