Subic Bay, Philippines – March 1, 2026 – The Subic Bay Multisport Festival (SBMF) wrapped up a thrilling weekend of racing, attracting close to 1,000 participants along with families and supporters to the breathtaking shores of Subic Bay.
This vibrant event boosted local tourism and the economy while highlighting Subic Bay as a world-class multisport venue.
Day one of the festival launched under the Pho3nix Kids Philippines banner, signaling the kickoff of the first leg in this year’s series of Pho3nix Kids events. Highlights included kids’ races, an energetic 5K fun run, and adult aquathlon, creating an inclusive start for athletes of all levels.
Day two showcased elite talent in Triathlon, Duathlon, and Aquavelo races. James Van Ramoga of Team Go For Gold blazed to victory as the first-ever overall male Sprint Triathlon finisher with a blistering 1:07:16, while Sachi Rae Viray of TriClark powered home as the top female in 1:27:26.
Race Director Jumbo Tayag enthused: “These multisport weekends have become a staple of Go Race PH. We plan to offer a competitive but also approachable platform for racing — regardless if you’re 9 or 90, beginner or elite. There’s a place for you here.”
It was a weekend of something for everyone, as the cool Subic Bay waters, scenic courses, and finisher perks like medals, craft beer, and recovery support from sponsors made it a multisport haven to all in attendance.
