This is the first weekend of everything swim, bike, and run

Subic Bay, Philippines – February 2025 – Subic Bay is set to host the first-ever Subic Bay Multisport Festival this coming weekend, bringing together more than 1,000 athletes from all over the country.

Known as the Triathlon Capital of the Philippines, Subic Bay will be the ultimate playground for multisport enthusiasts as it plays host to back-to-back events celebrating everything swim, bike, and run.

Organized by GoClark Sports & Events, the Subic Bay Multisport Festival will feature two exciting pillar events: Pho3nix Kids Philippines on Saturday and TriFactor Triathlon & Duathlon on Sunday. Designed to cater to all levels of athletes—from beginners to seasoned competitors—the event aims to promote inclusivity and foster a deeper love for the sport among participants of all ages.

“It’s going to be a weekend dedicated to the spirit of multisport,” said Jumbo Tayag, Race Director. “Subic Bay has always been a special place for triathletes, and with this upcoming weekend, we’re not just creating races, but we’re also building a stronger community that celebrates health, competition, and camaraderie.”

A key highlight of the weekend will be the Pho3nix Kids Philippines, an initiative designed to introduce young athletes to the world of multisport in an inclusive and accessible environment. The event will welcome children from various backgrounds to participate in a fun, yet challenging race experience aimed at cultivating their passion for swimming, biking, and running at an early age.

“Triathlon is often perceived as an expensive sport, but our goal with Pho3nix Kids Philippines is to change that narrative,” said Tayag. “We want to give kids from all walks of life the chance to experience the excitement and joy of multisport, no matter their background. Events like this are a step toward making the sport more accessible and inclusive for everyone.”

The weekend will conclude with the TriFactor Triathlon & Duathlon, which will feature various distances and categories. From seasoned age-groupers to first-time multisport athletes, participants will have the chance to race in Subic Bay’s world-class venue while enjoying a vibrant multisport atmosphere.
