Luisa “Louie” Sebastian, SSS assistant vice president for media affairs, said starting March, SSS pensioners need to submit the accomplished ACOP form to the nearest SSS office or their pension-depository bank , at any day during their birth month, to avoid suspension of their monthly pension.
Sebastian also said the SSS, upon request, will schedule a home visit for pensioners who are unable to walk because
of sickness. She said they can submit requests for home visit to the nearest SSS office or send an email to: member_relations@sss. gov.ph or at pad@sss.gov. ph.
Sebastian, who was guest of the media forum “Balitaan” organized by the Capampangan In Media, Inc. (CAMI) in cooperation with the Clark Development Corp. and the SSS at the Bale Balita here Friday, also announced that by March, the SSS will start suspending the pensions of pensioners who failed to undergo the ACOP.
Sebastian explained that SSS is generating P400 million in savings a month because of the updated data base that comes out of ACOP.
